My husband was falsely accused of commiting a crime, when those involved testified that he was not there. They had no evidence linking him to the crime, and the key witness was a young lady that was threatened by the D.A. to lie or her children would be taken, and she would be charged with a crime. His lawyer submitted a notarized declaration stating he had spoken with the key witness, who confessed to the lies, and nothing has been done. He was given multiple punishments for the same crime, he was also questioned without his rights being read, by a detective who was well known in Sacramento for being a corrupt det. his name was Rye. This would have been the 19th case that would have been dropped, due to his error, and would have caused the legal system to no longer hide, and deal with him. My husband has spent 13yrs of his life incarcerated, and noone in the system is listening. He has filed many writs, only to be denied. Is there anyone who cares about the wrongs in the system, who knows how to make them right?
